Chapter 1
Act I · The Misfiled Moon
The crew boards a silent station and finds a lunar map filed under bedtime songs.
The station has no crew, no alarms, and one open book describing your arrival in the past tense.
The Orbital Library was designed to preserve stories, languages, maps, and civic memory from every region of Earth. Years after contact was lost, a restoration crew arrives to find the station functioning like a puzzle: doors open for corrected stories, archives reorganize around choices, and a helpful indexing AI refuses to explain why entire shelves have been deliberately misfiled. The team must repair trust between human memory and machine curation before the station deletes what it believes the world no longer needs.
Each role enters the same night with a different pressure, motive, and failure condition.
