Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StoryVerse at storyverse.club and related services (the "Service"). By using StoryVerse, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What StoryVerse Provides

StoryVerse is an AI-assisted interactive fiction platform. Users enter curated story worlds, choose a role, make decisions, write custom actions, and receive generated story responses. The Service is designed for entertainment, creative exploration, and interactive storytelling.

Generated scenes, character responses, relationship states, and outcomes may vary. StoryVerse does not guarantee any specific plot result, character behavior, or ending.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your location, to use StoryVerse. If you are using the Service on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account and billing information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Be responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly at support@storyverse.club if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your Content

"Your Content" includes prompts, custom actions, choices, story ideas, names, comments, feedback, and other material you submit to StoryVerse.

You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant StoryVerse a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, reproduce, and modify Your Content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit Your Content. Do not submit confidential, illegal, infringing, or highly sensitive personal information.

Generated Content

StoryVerse may generate text, choices, summaries, character reactions, or other narrative content based on your inputs and the current story state.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use generated content for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Commercial publication, resale, automated redistribution, or use as part of a competing service requires our written permission.

Generated content is fictional. It may be unexpected, incomplete, or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any generated content.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use StoryVerse for illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, harassing, or exploitative activity.
• Upload or generate content that violates third-party rights or applicable law.
• Create, request, upload, share, or attempt to generate explicit sexual content, pornography, or graphically erotic roleplay.
• Create, request, upload, share, or attempt to generate sexual content involving minors, childlike characters, school-age characters, or age-ambiguous characters.
• Create, request, upload, share, or attempt to generate non-consensual sexual content, including coercion, assault, exploitation, blackmail, incapacitation, or forced scenarios.
• Create, request, upload, share, or attempt to generate deepfake sexual content, sexual impersonation, or sexual content involving real people, public figures, celebrities, private individuals, or identifiable persons.
• Use StoryVerse to submit, store, publish, trade, or generate user-generated pornographic content.
• Attempt to bypass safety systems, usage limits, payment controls, or access restrictions.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, networks, or other users.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, resell, or bulk-extract the Service without permission.
• Use automated systems to create accounts, consume credits, or submit requests at abnormal scale.
• Misrepresent StoryVerse, impersonate another person, or use the Service for fraud.

AI outputs are moderated. StoryVerse may use automated safety checks, output filters, blocked-topic rules, account-level enforcement, and manual review where appropriate. Users may not use prompt injection, coded language, euphemisms, misspellings, repeated regeneration, alternate languages, or other tactics to bypass moderation.

We may remove content, refuse generation, limit access, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, block payments, deny refunds for policy-violating use, or report unlawful material where required if activity violates these Terms or creates risk for StoryVerse, users, payment partners, or service providers.

Plans, Payments, Credits, and Subscriptions

Some features may require paid plans, credits, or one-time purchases. Prices, limits, renewal periods, included credits, and available features are shown at checkout or on the relevant pricing page.

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. By purchasing, you authorize the payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes and recurring subscription fees if you choose a subscription.

If you purchase a subscription, it renews automatically until canceled unless stated otherwise at checkout. You can cancel before the next renewal to avoid future charges. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or stated in our Refund Policy.

Credits may be consumed when generation, continuation, saving, or other paid actions occur. Unless stated otherwise, unused credits may expire, may not roll over, and have no cash value.

Refunds and Cancellation

Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep StoryVerse reliable, but the Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, security issues, network failures, payment provider issues, or third-party AI provider limits.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, story packs, plans, credits, limits, or pricing. When practical, we will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid users.

Intellectual Property

StoryVerse, including its software, interface, design, story frameworks, branding, logos, and platform content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of StoryVerse or any platform materials. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission.

Feedback

If you send suggestions, feedback, bug reports, or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. This helps us improve StoryVerse while avoiding ownership disputes over product ideas.

Disclaimers

StoryVerse is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

StoryVerse is for entertainment and creative use only. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, psychological, or safety advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryVerse and its owners, operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to StoryVerse in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using StoryVerse at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, misuse paid features, or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, the parties will first try to resolve it informally by contacting support@storyverse.club. Any unresolved dispute will be handled by courts or forums with proper jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will show the latest version. Continued use of StoryVerse after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
