Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for StoryVerse purchases made through storyverse.club.
StoryVerse provides digital interactive storytelling services, including AI-assisted story sessions, subscriptions, and credit-based usage. Because digital credits and generated content can be consumed immediately, refund eligibility depends on timing, usage, and the nature of the issue.
Subscription Refunds
You may request a refund for your first subscription purchase within 7 days of the original purchase date if one of the following applies:
- You have used less than 20% of the included credits or paid usage allowance.
- A technical issue prevents normal access to story generation and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time.
- The paid service you received materially differs from what was described at checkout.
- A duplicate charge or clear billing error occurred.
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Approval is not automatic, but we aim to be fair when there is low usage, a genuine technical problem, or a billing mistake.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available when:
- More than 7 days have passed since the purchase.
- More than 20% of included credits or paid usage has been consumed.
- The request is based only on a change of mind after meaningful use.
- The purchase was a renewal payment that was not canceled before the renewal date.
- The account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- The account or purchase was used to create, request, upload, share, or attempt to generate content prohibited by our Content Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, or AI Safety and Moderation Policy.
- Credits, story generations, exports, or other digital benefits have already been substantially used.
- The issue was caused by user-side problems such as unsupported devices, local network issues, or incorrect account information.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
One-Time Credit Purchases
One-time credit purchases may be eligible for a refund within 7 days only if the credits are fully unused or if there was a duplicate charge or billing error.
Credits that have been used for story generation, continuation, saving, export, or other paid actions are generally non-refundable.
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account, billing portal, or by contacting support@storyverse.club.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless required by law or approved under this policy, cancellation does not provide a partial refund for the current billing period. You will normally keep access to paid features until the end of the paid period.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@storyverse.club with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address used for your StoryVerse account.
- The purchase date.
- The plan, subscription, or credit package purchased.
- The transaction ID or receipt, if available.
- A brief explanation of the reason for the request.
We usually respond within 3 business days.
Approved Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor. Once approved, refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the payment method, bank, card issuer, and payment processor.
If the original payment method is unavailable, we may be unable to issue a refund or may need additional information from the payment processor.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We can usually resolve billing questions, duplicate charges, failed cancellations, or technical issues faster through support.
Filing an unsupported or fraudulent chargeback may result in account suspension, loss of access to paid credits, and restriction from future purchases.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The effective date above will show the latest version. Refunds are generally reviewed under the policy in effect at the time of purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.
