AI Safety and Moderation Policy
Effective Date: July 2, 2026
StoryVerse uses AI to generate interactive fictional scenes from user choices and story context. Because AI systems can produce unexpected outputs, we use safety controls to reduce harmful, explicit, exploitative, and policy-violating content.
This policy explains how StoryVerse moderates inputs and outputs.
Safety Standards
StoryVerse does not allow AI generation of:
- Explicit sexual content or pornography.
- Sexual content involving minors or age-ambiguous characters.
- Non-consensual sexual content.
- Deepfake or sexual impersonation of real people.
- User-generated pornographic content.
- Harmful, hateful, exploitative, illegal, or abusive instructions.
These standards apply to prompts, custom actions, character names, generated scenes, saved content, shared content, and support interactions.
How Moderation Works
StoryVerse may use several layers of moderation, including:
- Input checks before a prompt or custom action is sent for generation.
- Output checks before generated content is shown or saved.
- Blocklists and classifiers for prohibited sexual, exploitative, hateful, violent, illegal, and abusive content.
- Story design rules that keep official story worlds within safe fictional themes.
- Account-level monitoring for repeated bypass attempts or suspicious behavior.
- Manual review of reported or high-risk content where appropriate.
When a request violates policy, StoryVerse may refuse it, ask the user to change direction, or redirect the story toward safe content.
User-Generated Content Controls
Users may write custom actions and story inputs, but they may not use those inputs to create prohibited content. Attempts to bypass moderation can lead to enforcement even if the model does not produce the requested content.
We reserve the right to remove or restrict user-generated content that violates policy or creates legal, safety, payment, or platform risk.
Human Review and Reports
We may manually review content when:
- A user reports a safety issue.
- Automated systems flag high-risk behavior.
- We investigate fraud, abuse, payment disputes, or policy violations.
- Review is required by law, payment partners, hosting providers, or platform safety obligations.
To report an unsafe prompt or output, email support@storyverse.club.
Limits of AI Moderation
AI moderation is not perfect. It may occasionally block safe content or miss unsafe content. Users should not rely on StoryVerse for professional, legal, medical, psychological, emergency, or safety advice.
If you see unsafe content, do not share it. Report it so we can investigate and improve our protections.
Enforcement
Violations may result in refused generation, content removal, account restrictions, suspension, termination, refund denial for abusive use, or reports to appropriate authorities where legally required.
